Job Summary:

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Room Server to join our team. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment, and making a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Food and Beverage Service: Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all meals are presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
  • Dining Room Setup: Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Resident Support: Handle requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventorying supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available and well-stocked.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Dietary Knowledge: Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time, as this is a primarily standing position.
