Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated individual eager to expand their expertise and laboratory capabilities in the realm of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and genomics research.

The selected candidate will engage in activities within our high-throughput NGS laboratory, which serves as a pivotal resource for sequencing technologies and the development of genomic applications that bolster the research initiatives of our organization.

Specifically, this role involves supporting single-cell molecular profiling and the generation of sequencing data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all stages of sample preparation, processing, library construction, sequencing, and in-process analytical quality control.
  • Utilize automation technologies to enhance laboratory efficiency.
  • Receive comprehensive training on established protocols and workflows, with ongoing supervision until proficiency is achieved for independent operations.
  • Contribute to the advancement of emerging single-cell and NGS applications for large-scale, high-throughput genomic studies.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaborations aimed at supporting the company’s drug discovery and development efforts.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field is preferred, along with relevant academic or industry experience in research.

Strong teamwork abilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential.

A commendable work ethic and a drive to make significant contributions to projects that aim to improve patient therapies and outcomes are highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

While prior knowledge or experience with NGS technology is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
