As a member of our team, you will perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in the patient's care plan.
  • Diagnostic Activities: Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Cardiac Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for the patient populations we serve.
  • Data Collection: Assist in collecting data related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
  • Documentation: Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.

Requirements

  • LPN Experience: One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with Critical Care course completion within one year of hire.
  • Certifications: State Registered Radiologic Technician, Emergency Medical Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, obtained within two years of employment start date.
