Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures and temporary pacer insertion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Collect accurate data and participate in the patient's Place of Care in accordance with the department/unit's standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physician.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
  • Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.
  • LPN one year experience with Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Registered Vascular Lab Technician, or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP).
