We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician II, you will play a critical role in assisting in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including emergency procedures associated with catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Perform data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
- Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
- Collaborate with credentialed invasive cardiologists or radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
- LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
