Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Child Life Assistant to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Child Life Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and engaging environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the playroom and facilitate interactions between children, peers, volunteers, and students.
  • Develop and implement play-based activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and their families during hospital stays.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with coursework in Child Development (College Level Preferred).
  • Associate degree in Child Development, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Current BLS certification (or certification within 90 days of hire) for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
