At Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at the Brudnick Center for Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for championing the Nursing Department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Staffing Plans: Create and manage the written staffing plan to reflect the needs of the department.
- Monitor and Evaluate Quality of Care: Perform regular rounds to assess the quality of nursing care and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and Manage Department Policies: Develop, implement, and evaluate department policies and procedures in accordance with current rules and regulations.
- Provide Leadership and Guidance: Deliver written and oral reports to the Executive Director on the operation of the nursing department and provide guidance to nursing staff.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Represent the Organization: Represent Chelsea Jewish Lifecare in the community and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical teams.
- Current Massachusetts RN Licensure
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Strong Organizational and Leadership Skills
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Previous Experience in Long-Term Care and/or Geriatric Population
- Effective Supervisory and Mentorship Abilities
