Job Summary

Munck Cranes Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and service on various models of overhead cranes and lifting devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on overhead cranes and lifting devices
  • Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Work at heights on large steel structures and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and elevated work platforms
  • Read and understand drawings and blueprints
  • Collaborate with the service office to ensure accurate and timely paperwork and quotes
  • Follow all established safety rules and procedures

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field
  • Minimum two years of experience working on and/or installing overhead cranes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers
  • Valid driver's license in good standing

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent lifting, climbing, balancing, and overhead reaching. The work environment is approximately 90% indoor and 10% outdoor, with frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and heights.
