Job Summary:

The Pearl of Hillside is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Department Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
  • Oversee the development of the nursing department structure and roles of each position
  • Establish and manage goals and objectives for the nursing department
  • Facilitate collegial relationships among nurse managers and other healthcare professionals
  • Hire, educate, and counsel a nursing leadership team to participate in clinical oversight
  • Maintain and evaluate an environment that empowers and supports nurse managers in problem-solving

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as RN in this state; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Five years in long-term or acute healthcare preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
