Job Title: Compensation Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation Support Specialist to provide compensation support and data reporting for NPPC, including PTC, IT NA, and the GSBU. This role will assist in maintaining compensation policies, processes, programs, and communications while ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Reporting and Auditing:
    • Verify data accuracy and research issues related to grandfathered benefit plans, quarterly tax reporting, recognition system updates, and weekly backfill submissions.
    • Conduct ongoing reporting to support various HR initiatives.
  • Annual Salary Review Process:
    • Support the management of the annual salary review process by distributing HR communications, auditing data, and verifying information with HR Strategists.
    • Review files for completeness and assist with training and documentation.
  • Internal Compensation Site Maintenance:
    • Maintain and update materials and links on the internal Compensation site.
  • Special Projects:
    • Undertake other special projects as assigned and perform all other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • A combination of education and experience in a human resources environment is preferred. A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of experience in the field of Human Resources/Compensation is required.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of NPPC Human Resources policies and procedures preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
    • Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills quickly.
    • Strong customer service orientation and effective verbal & written communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
    • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint is strongly preferred.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
