Job Summary:

The Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist will be tasked with conducting clinical laboratory analyses within a dynamic academic medical environment. The laboratory supports a comprehensive range of services, including solid organ and bone marrow transplants, pediatric care, and oncology.

This role is crucial for ensuring high standards of service through precise and timely reporting of results. The position will focus on the Blood Bank, with responsibilities encompassing type and screen procedures, cross-matching, antibody evaluations, elution, absorption, antibody titering, neonatal assessments, and component preparation.

This accredited laboratory employs cutting-edge technology and instrumentation.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Experience in clinical laboratory settings, ability to thrive under pressure, independence, teamwork, organizational skills, and proficiency in computer applications.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent. Certification as MT/MLS or similar, along with prior experience in Blood Bank operations.
