This role includes overseeing emergency preparedness initiatives and ensuring the safety protocols are effectively implemented.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs and oversees the activities of contracted security personnel at designated sites, ensuring adherence to established security protocols and operational standards.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact during emergency situations, providing immediate response and coordination.
  • Conducts thorough assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, proposing actionable strategies to mitigate threats.
  • Performs comprehensive evaluations of security programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Facilitates training and drills to validate the effectiveness of security policies and procedures, documenting outcomes and recommending improvements.
  • Develops and implements security training initiatives for staff members and individuals assigned to security-related roles.
  • Conducts orientation sessions to promote awareness of security protocols across the organization.
  • Investigates incidents of misconduct, security breaches, and threats, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Provides security consultation for organizational events, ensuring appropriate measures are in place for public gatherings and meetings.
  • Coordinates security support for offsite events, ensuring comprehensive coverage and assistance.
  • Guides the execution of physical security projects, ensuring alignment with organizational safety standards.
  • Offers security support for sensitive hearings and proceedings as required.

Additional Duties:

  • Available for on-call support 24/7 to address emergencies and critical incidents.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of experience in law enforcement or security management.
  • At least two years of investigative experience.
  • A minimum of three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Familiarity with electronic security systems, including intrusion detection and access control.
  • Preferred: Certified Protection Professional designation from a recognized security organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Work Environment:

  • Position based in a general office setting.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
  • Travel to various organizational locations may be required.
