Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team at Williamsburg Technical College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, academic advising, and other instructional-related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality instruction, teach courses as assigned, and develop various teaching techniques.
  • Provide academic advising consistent with students' intended goals and develop successful retention activities.
  • Manage classroom/lab/clinic activities in an orderly manner and assist in the preparation of budget projections for equipment and educational supplies.
  • Participate in the activities of the faculty in ways that benefit the College, the health science department, the faculty, and students.
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree in Nursing with a minimum of three (3) of the past five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse in direct patient care or nursing education.
  • Must be proficient in oral and written communication and able to work independently.
  • Must hold an unencumbered active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of South Carolina or another compact state.
