Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team at Williamsburg Technical College. As a key member of our health science department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, academic advising, and other instructional-related duties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality instruction, teach courses as assigned, and provide students with course documentation.
  • Develop and implement successful retention activities, and assist in student registration and orientation.
  • Manage classroom/lab/clinic activities in an orderly manner, and assist in the development of standards for admission, progression, and graduation of nursing students.
  • Participate in professional development, and participate in community activities for the purpose of bringing education and service together for the improvement of healthcare.
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree in Nursing with a minimum of three (3) of the past five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse in direct patient care or nursing education.
  • Must be proficient in oral and written communication, and able to work independently.
  • Must hold an unencumbered active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of South Carolina or another compact state.
