DaVita Inc. is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and performing various technical duties. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform various technical duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
