Job Overview:

The Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) office, a division of the Arizona Department of Administration, is in search of a skilled Business Architect to enhance our leadership team. This pivotal role is essential for synchronizing organizational objectives with technological solutions to facilitate transformative changes within the organization.

The Business Architect will work in close partnership with senior executives and stakeholders to guarantee the effective amalgamation of business strategies and IT frameworks. The main emphasis will be on designing and refining business processes and models, while also acting as a crucial advisor to leadership regarding best practices and emerging trends in business architecture. Key Responsibilities: Generate leads for potential services related to digital solutions and engage members for the community of practice group Oversee and manage visual communications and engagement activities, including social media and video podcasts, ensuring alignment with agreed messaging and brand strategies based on user needs that reflect best practices in visual communications Provide consultation and support to state agencies, boards, and commissions on digital initiatives, offering strategic direction for successful project execution Manage website content migration projects and the creation of new website design layouts, focusing on a user-centered approach and identifying iterative improvements for website products Analyze website data analytics and monitor metrics to assess digital product performance and identify service improvement opportunities for outreach Develop guidelines and processes for visual and digital products, creating optimal layouts and formats to effectively display visual information across various digital channels Conduct user experience testing, surveys, and content audits to gather insights on user behaviors and feedback Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

Comprehensive understanding of business architecture principles and frameworks, with demonstrated experience in designing and implementing business processes within a large organizational context Strong knowledge of business model innovation, process enhancement methodologies, and emerging technologies Familiarity with effective UI design principles and proven experience in supporting the design, delivery, and management of digital services, preferably in a governmental or large organizational environment

Skills in:

Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders Experience in process analysis, design, and optimization, with a focus on aligning business and IT strategies

Ability to:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of driving innovation and continuous improvement Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations, fostering effective teamwork Demonstrated capability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly, supporting adaptive strategies Build strong relationships within and outside the organization, enhancing collaborative efforts Preferred Qualifications: Training in Business, Product Management, or Visual Communication is preferred Bachelor's Degree and/or 15 years of experience in business analysis (or equivalent experience) Pre-Employment Requirements: Background and reference checks, including state and federal criminal records fingerprint check
