Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator of Faculty Development will provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Clinical Faculty Development and other members of the Senior Associate Dean's Office. This role will involve coordinating faculty development events, managing mailing lists and newsletters, and liaising with Clinical Affiliates, CME, CED, and GME departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of continuing education and faculty development events
  • Manage and maintain mailing lists, newsletters, and announcements
  • Liaise with Clinical Affiliates, CME, CED, and GME departments to facilitate faculty development programs and improved relations
  • Perform general administrative tasks for faculty development sessions, including photocopying, meeting scheduling, web events, conferences, room reservations, submission of forms, and posting materials
  • Assist with processing payment and reimbursement, room reservations, and catering requests for clinical faculty development events
  • Support and communicate with guest lecturers
  • Provide administrative support in programmatic outcomes evaluation and needs assessments
  • Record outcome data for Clinical Distinction and Clinical Faculty development programs
  • Assist with the development, publishing, and distribution of the clinical faculty development reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, minimum two years study at an accredited College/University or equivalent job experience at healthcare/academic/business setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to establish rapport and work with administrative staff, hospital administrators and physicians as well as students, staff and core faculty
  • Must have excellent writing skills
  • Work well with different personalities in a professional manner
  • Organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in developing solutions
  • Ability to learn new software platforms and find creative solutions using technology
