Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical operational support across multiple sites, focusing on safety, education, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Optum West Region Operations Team and Provider/Physician Leadership to drive quality, cost, and patient service improvements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to implement organizational mission, vision, and values that optimize patient outcomes and financial performance.
  • Facilitate excellent customer service and satisfaction while achieving organization-specific quality and financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or graduate degree in healthcare or nursing.
  • Active unrestricted RN license in the State of New Mexico.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience and 3+ years of management experience with successive promotions and site audit experience.
  • Ability to review root cause of problems, develop plans, and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, including group and team building, coaching, communication, change management, and people/product focus balance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters in Nursing or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
  • Solid leadership and organizational skills, including group and team building, coaching, communication, change management, and people/product focus balance.
  • Advanced ability to develop people, empowerment, and accountability at all levels.
  • Solid sense of integrity and ability to command the respect of patients and employees at all levels.
