Key Responsibilities- Oversee and administer programs, strategies, and initiatives to support the department's mission and goals.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external business activities, including accounting and finance, human resources, and facility management.
- Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to departmental staff, including performance management, coaching, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Chair and senior department faculty to develop and implement strategic plans and operational decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in administration, finance, and human resources.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a higher education setting.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
- Experience with Banner Finance, MyReports, and other university systems.
- Experience with contracts and grants administration.
