We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension Medical Group in Evansville, IN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider.
- Perform select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
- Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies and perform basic materials management functions.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- One or more of the following certifications required: Medical Assistant specializing in Registered, Certified Medical Assistant.
