Job Overview

Forgen is seeking a highly skilled Deep Foundations Survey/QC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of deep foundation projects, ensuring precision and quality throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed site surveys and manage geotechnical data to ensure accurate foundation installation.
  • Monitor foundation installation and ensure compliance with design requirements and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and verify the accuracy of foundation elements.
  • Develop and maintain project records, including technical reports and quality control documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including preparation of project submittals and technical reviews of contract plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in surveying, geotechnical engineering, and quality control, with a focus on deep foundations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with USACE QCS System and site surveying, both conventional and GPS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
