Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Superintendent to join our team at Forgen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of craft employees, as well as ensuring the safe and profitable operation of project equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of craft employees and subcontractors to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are followed.
  • Assist with the selection and hiring of project craft personnel.
  • Manage daily reports, including timecards, field reports, and schedule updates.
  • Plan and direct field activities, including determining manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
  • Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures, and promote a positive safety culture.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in deep foundations and ground improvement, with a focus on surveying and construction operations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive on behalf of the company.
  • Preferred safety training, including 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training, First Aid and CPR, TWIC, and Card Safety.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, management, and other coworkers, both individually and in front of a group.
Work Environment

The job is primarily performed outdoors at construction sites and occasionally indoors in a traditional office setting. The work environment includes exposure to extreme weather conditions, uneven ground, and job site hazards.
