Position Overview:

In today's digital landscape, the threat of cyber attacks is ever-present, and the dynamic nature of these risks can be daunting for organizations. As a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping entities navigate these complexities and develop effective risk management strategies.

Your Role:

As a key member of our team, you will leverage your extensive experience to collaborate with system engineers, administrators, project leads, and support personnel to identify and assess cyber risks. Your expertise will guide the development of comprehensive mitigation strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client.

You will:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of technical, environmental, and personnel factors to understand the complete risk landscape.
  • Prepare and present actionable plans through detailed reports, presentations, and strategic milestones.
  • Translate complex security concepts into understandable terms for stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making to safeguard critical systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience with the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework, including the creation of standard operating procedures.
  • A minimum of 3 years serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) overseeing authorization and continuous monitoring processes.
  • Familiarity with various security frameworks and tools, including Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service and Security Technical Implementation Guides.
  • Proficient in both Microsoft and Linux operating systems, along with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze system specifications and identify security requirements for both current and emerging technologies.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in information security, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing the authorization process within a DoD organization.
  • Knowledge of NAVAIR Risk Management Framework and Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management.
  • Understanding of continuous monitoring, cybersecurity risk management, and information security auditing.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation, including workflows and architectural diagrams.
  • Top Secret clearance is a plus.
  • A Master's degree in Information Assurance, Information Security, or Cybersecurity is advantageous.
  • Additional certifications such as CCSP or PMP are beneficial.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
