Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent Medical Center affiliated with a leading California Public Ivy university, is in search of a skilled Application Analyst.

Role Summary:

The Application Analyst will be instrumental in the management and enhancement of critical software applications, including but not limited to GE Health Carescape and Philips Capsule Medical Device Information Platform (MDIP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications.
  • Design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within the healthcare portfolio.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and team members to address complex challenges and requests.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of application specialties, including design, development, implementation, and user support.
  • Strong analytical skills to research and synthesize data for informed decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in conveying technical information clearly to various audiences.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows server and desktop environments, along with MS SQL Database or similar technologies.
  • Experience with medical device applications, particularly GE Health Carescape, is essential.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
