Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the Financial Controller in ensuring the integrity and precision of all revenue generated by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively communicate any issues that may impact the hotel’s interests to the Management.
- Foster seamless collaboration and communication with all hotel departments to enhance cooperation, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Team Coordination
- Keep all team members informed about departmental objectives and policies.
- Identify and promote the efficient, cost-effective use of resources, educating the team accordingly.
Documentation Management
- Secure all revenue-related documents, including Guest checks, Guest Folios, Official receipts, Captain Orders, Paid-out Vouchers, and various Debit/Credit Vouchers.
- Review revenue documents and validate them against revenue sheets.
Reconciliation and Reporting
- Ensure that all rebates, allowances, and adjustments to revenue are properly authorized and legitimate.
- Reconcile the computer-generated Guest Ledger Balance with the General Ledger Balance.
- Prepare necessary reports, schedules, and analyses as required.
Additional Duties
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
- Oversee all Income Audits and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Consolidate income reports across all operational areas.
- Verify soft count deposits and audit all control documents, preparing exception reports for any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance such as B.Com, M.Com, or MBA, or any equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Finance, preferably within branded hotels.
