Revenue Auditor II

Job Summary:
The Revenue Auditor II is a key member of the WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily revenue audits. This role involves inspecting, analyzing, and confirming financial documents to ensure compliance and reporting requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily revenue audits, including inspection, analysis, and confirmation of financial documents.
- Research and investigate any missing, inaccurate, or conflicting information.
- Compile supporting documentation and records for any unusual or questionable information.
- Establish and enforce regular audit schedules and procedures.
- Enter daily information into revenue audit report forms, run reports, and review documentation for accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries, track coupons used on property, and record variances and other accounting-related functions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis and analyze and investigate discrepancies.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
- Prepare, verify, and issue daily operating reports.
- Write and maintain departmental audit procedures and checklists.
- Assist with monitoring all financial activities on property, ensuring all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls are in place.
- Process and analyze information from numerous sources for reconciliation and determination of submissions required by law.
- Ensure a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
- Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Held accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Two (2) years related auditing work experience; casino/hotel experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; financial software.
- Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.

Travel Requirements: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Work Hours: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Certification Requirements: Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No
Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
