We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at PBK Architects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and completion of architectural projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage project teams to produce high-quality sets of documents that comply with deliverable requirements for all phases of the project.
  • Ensure that the project conforms to contractual agreements with clients, meeting all set budgets, goals, and work assignments for their project team.
  • Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering teams to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
  • Directs, organizes, and mentors junior staff with responsibility oversight of their assignments.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive client relationships throughout the project, keeping clients apprised of project progress on a regular basis.
  • Provides leadership, resources, and technical advice for the generation of construction documents, including detailing and finish application, ensuring adherence to design intent and carry-through.
  • Supports Client Executive and/or Principal Architect in supervision and delegation of work.
  • Able to perform Construction Administration duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field is required.
  • Architecture License required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience preferred.
  • Ideally, experience in the K-12 sector.
  • Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • Willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision-making process; make timely decisions.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in using BIM programs. AutoCAD/Revit is ideal.
  • Working knowledge of graphic programs (SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites) is a plus.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of building codes required.
