Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong book of business, including clients and realtors.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques, including personal face-to-face calls, telemarketing, and direct mail, to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales leads and follow up with leads in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process.
  • Work closely with the Bank's Marketing Department to develop and implement marketing strategies that target specific products and services.
  • Analyze applicant financial information, property valuation, and credit to determine loan feasibility.
  • Maintain and develop mortgage programs through calls on realtors, accountants, and attorneys.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage experience, including secondary market guidelines.
  • Strong sales and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and software applications.
  • Licensed, registered, and in good standing with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Valid and unblemished NJ Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in outside sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
