Position Overview

This full-time hybrid position for a Health and Safety Project Manager at ISS involves managing health and safety initiatives, facilitating safety training sessions, conducting thorough accident investigations, and ensuring adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. This role offers flexibility, allowing for both in-office and remote work arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and customer service skills to effectively manage client expectations and explore new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee health and safety projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct safety training programs to enhance workforce knowledge.
  • Lead investigations into accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety.
  • Proven experience in Safety Training and Accident Investigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
  • Strong project management and communication capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in training and onsite industrial services (e.g., LOTO, Confined Space, Rigging).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Willingness to acquire new skills in a timely manner.
