Job Overview

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a Clinical Supervisor for our Social Skills program. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and providing oversight for specific cases within our community.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and have experience working in and developing ABA-based social skills programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times, providing direct, supervisory, and consultative ABA services to assigned clients, and administering all aspects of assigned clients' ABA programs.

You will also be responsible for training and supervising ABATs and RBTs working with your assigned clients, as well as training and coordinating with caregivers of assigned clients and other service providers. The Clinical Supervisor will report to and work closely with the Social Beginnings Program Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ABA programs for assigned clients
  • Provide direct, supervisory, and consultative ABA services to assigned clients
  • Administer all aspects of assigned clients' ABA programs
  • Train and supervise ABATs and RBTs working with assigned clients
  • Train and coordinate with caregivers of assigned clients and other service providers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working in and developing ABA-based social skills programs
  • Experience supervising implementation of ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs
  • Completion of BCBA supervision training
  • Current state license in Maryland, or in process to acquire it
  • 3+ years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with children with behavior problems
  • Experience conducting family training on ABA-based treatment plans

Compensation and Benefits:
