Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee the software engineering operations, which encompass the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software applications. Your role will include:

  • Leading the development of software tools and applications for various platforms, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that specifications are clearly defined and aligned.
  • Working alongside software engineering leaders to plan and execute sprint cycles, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Introducing new technologies into the existing stack, facilitating research, implementation, and integration.
  • Identifying and executing implementation strategies that align with organizational priorities.
  • Ensuring that software products meet or exceed quality standards and user expectations.
  • Evaluating tools and methodologies to enhance testing effectiveness and defect identification.
  • Managing team resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Setting annual Key Performance Indicators that align with corporate objectives.
  • Mentoring team members on performance improvement and career development.
  • Overseeing human resource processes including onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Managing assigned budgets and analyzing variances to optimize operational performance.

Qualifications:
A Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2 years of experience in roles such as Sr. Programmer Analyst, Development Lead, or Sr. Software Engineer.

Additional requirements include:

  • 2 years of experience in technology.
  • Experience in developing IT quality strategies focused on process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including both IT and non-IT members.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment managing a diverse application portfolio.

Work Environment:
This position allows for remote work flexibility, enabling you to work from various locations.
