Key Responsibilities- Receives and assesses returned material stock, ensuring its suitability for restocking through thorough inspection and evaluation.
- Accurately records and accounts for material issues, returns, and receipts, adhering to strict accounting procedures.
- Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory materials, utilizing computer-monitored suggested re-order listings to ensure accuracy.
- Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory areas, implementing a labeling system for each stock item and manually stocking inventory shelving with received or returned stock items.
- Investigates and documents inventory discrepancies, utilizing all available resources to identify root causes and propose potential solutions.
- Collaborates with key personnel to implement process improvements, enhancing location accuracy and overall productivity levels.
- Expedites the daily flow of special order SKUs, ensuring timely shipping and resolving any issues related to special orders.
- Ensures that the unit of measure for received items matches the unit of measure for outgoing items.
- Participates in a collaborative work environment, utilizing effective communication and a willingness to cross-train to enhance team productivity and skill development.
- Complies with comprehensive safety protocols and participates in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
- Follows all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification; 1 year's experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, with ERP Systems preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
This role involves working in a warehouse setting, utilizing standard equipment such as computers, phones, and material handling equipment. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and handling, with the ability to frequently move about the warehouse and lift up to 40 pounds.
