Inventory Cycle Counter

At WAIGlobal, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team. As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our inventory.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for the complete life cycle of inventory, including requisitioning and storing. They will also be responsible for related areas such as inventory control, discrepancy resolution, and inventory inspection in accordance with company regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receives returned material stock and assesses its suitability for restocking through disassembly, inspection, and evaluation.
- Utilizes a computer terminal to accurately record and account for material issues, returns, and receipts, including new materials and associated back orders.
- Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory materials based on computer-monitored suggested re-order listings.
- Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory areas to facilitate efficient material storage and handling.
- Collaborates with key personnel to implement process improvements that enhance location accuracy and overall productivity levels.
- Ensures that the unit of measure for received items matches the unit of measure for outgoing items.
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 1 year of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, and ERP Systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

- Standing: Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position.
- Walking, Reaching and Handling: Must be able to frequently move about inside the warehouse to access product and machinery.
- Seeing: Frequently reads various documents and operates computer and other office tools/databases/equipment.
- Talking and Hearing: Frequently communicates with colleagues, co-workers, and customers.
The salary for this position is $16.75 per hour, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.
