At WAI Global, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter/Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Inventory Cycle Counter/Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the complete life cycle of inventory, including requisitioning and storing. You will also be responsible for related areas such as inventory control, discrepancy resolution, and inventory inspection in accordance with company regulations and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a computer terminal to accurately account for issues, returns, and receipts of new materials and associated back orders.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory materials based on computer-monitored suggested re-order listings.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory areas to optimize material storage and handling efficiency.
  • Monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform thorough research and documentation of inventory discrepancies, utilizing available resources to identify root causes and propose potential solutions.


Requirements:

  • Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP Systems preferred
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


Work Environment:

This role involves working in a warehouse setting. In the warehouse, standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, cameras, and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Order Picker, Pallet Jack, etc.) are used.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Standing Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position
  • Walking, Reaching and Handling Must be able to frequently move about inside the warehouse to access product and machinery, etc. Must be able to stand and walk 60% of time, lift up to 40 lbs. normal, up to 70 lbs. less than 10% of time.
  • Seeing Frequently reads various documents and operates computer and other office tools/databases/equipment.
  • Talking and Hearing Frequently communicates with colleagues, co-workers, and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Manual Dexterity Frequently operates a computer and warehouse machinery.
