Role Overview: In this role, you will cultivate and sustain outstanding relationships with our clients in collaboration with team leadership.

You will have the chance to manage a portfolio of client relationships by executing various banking transactions to fulfill client requirements and support business strategies aligned with the financial and market development objectives of Webster Bank. Additionally, you will provide administrative and operational assistance to the entire team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities related to banking transactions, account openings, and documentation within the APEX system; perform account maintenance, cash management, account analysis, account reconciliation, loan payments, and requests for advances on lines of credit, along with other deposit and loan specialty functions.
  • Assist the team throughout all stages of the client management relationship process by serving as a liaison between clients and various departments within and outside the bank; collaborate with specialists to ensure clients have access to experts who can address their specific financial needs.
  • Execute a variety of administrative tasks for the team that necessitate knowledge of banking operations, procedures, and lending practices.
  • Employ research and problem-solving abilities to identify, analyze, and resolve client issues promptly; maintain a system to track responses to inquiries and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Transform service transactions into sales opportunities by aiding Managing Directors in the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of client loan portfolios.
  • Gather documents required for business transactions: create and maintain client/credit files in accordance with compliance standards and draft letters/memos to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Financial Sector.

While advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) are preferred, a High School diploma or GED is mandatory. Candidates with a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience, are also eligible for consideration.

Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to the Financial Sector is essential.

Familiarity with business practices, banking products and services, as well as bank policies and procedures is required.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong service orientation, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are crucial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.

Outstanding multi-tasking capabilities, effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential.

The estimated salary range for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary based on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.
