We are seeking a Technical Marketing Specialist to join our Solvent Extraction Technical Organization in Tempe, AZ. The successful candidate will assist with new product introduction, technical service, and regional projects.

The position will work closely with both the technical and commercial teams to support customer-facing project development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong operational and laboratory skills in the area of solvent extraction, familiarity with laboratory techniques for the analysis of aqueous and organic solutions, and a proven track record of innovative and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional commercial team to execute site projects, troubleshoot operations, and introduce new products to the industry.
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments along with data interpretation and recommendations to progress regional projects.
  • Apply statistical and experimental design methods to concurrently investigate multi-variable effects and hypotheses.
  • Suggest solutions to address unmet customer needs.
  • Perform duties in a manner that supports site SHE, quality, and business key objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Engineer of Science Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Metallurgist, or other related field.
  • Strong operational and laboratory skills in the area of solvent extraction.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques for the analysis of aqueous and organic solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies to match the diverse product applications.
  • A proven track record of innovative and problem-solving skills.
