About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Your primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive nursing care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, hospitals, or other healthcare settings
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop personalized care plans
  • Implement interventions and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address patient needs
  • Document patient progress, including treatment outcomes and any changes to care plans
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • A valid RN license in the state where you intend to practice
  • At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administering medications, performing wound care, and utilizing medical equipment
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional boundaries at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in home health or hospice care
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and infection control protocols
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with patient care
