Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Management Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our centralized accounting operations team, you will be responsible for accounting support and ERP module administration for certain Alkegen U.S. locations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the US-based central accounting team in the monthly close process through ownership of Oracle modules (AP, AR, and Purchasing)
  • Perform centralized AP/AR functions for CHQ and US-based sites, as well as serve as owner and escalation point for overseas Shared Services AP/AR functions
  • Conduct collections activity, including communication with customers and internal sales and service personnel on resolving any invoicing issues for assigned US sites
  • Work collaboratively with employees completing cash application overseas and assist with any cash application or daily cash reconciliation issues
  • Investigate and resolve vendor invoice issues with personnel from plants and corporate functions
  • Work collaboratively with employees entering invoices overseas for assigned US sites and assist with any questions/conduct follow-up
  • Process check payments for assigned domestic locations as well as any foreign/domestic wire payments as requested
  • Responsible for wire transfer verification and all Positive Pay activity
  • Assist with administration of the domestic Purchasing and Travel credit card programs, including issuance and cancelations, while facilitating the monthly reconciliation, approval, and recording of activity
  • Serve as backup for invoice input, bank administration, new vendor set-up, and other functions as required
  • AP accounting close for assigned sites, including downloading, formatting, and loading data from vendor websites into ERP systems as part of the monthly AP cycle for assigned locations
  • Monthly AP and intercompany reconciliations and journal entries
Qualifications
  • An Associate's Degree or higher, with a concentration in Business is desired
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting clerk, or similar position
  • Understanding of basic principles of Finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle, BPCS, or D365 is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with personnel at remote sites
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Must have a track record of success in job performance
Compensation
  • $25/Hour - $28/Hour
  • Compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
