Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our global IT organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing security devices, equipment, controls, and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy and manage various security capabilities, including enterprise detection and response, network detection and response, vulnerability assessment and discovery, identity and access management, data protection solutions, and event logging systems.
- Design and architect modern security systems and solutions for both on-premise and public cloud environments.
- Coordinate with external security partners, such as managed detection and response providers, on critical security workflows and playbooks.
- Function as a key technical member of the cyber response team, supporting the investigation and remediation of cyber events and incidents.
- Analyze and assess cyber threats across the IT enterprise.
- Collaborate in creating business monitoring requirements, including device logging standards.
- Protect Rocket customer and intellectual property (IP) data.
- Develop and support data reporting and analytics as needed.
- At least 5 years of experience with deep security technology management and operations, including system deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a global enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with managing and operating endpoint security platforms, intrusion detection/protection, next-generation firewalls, email security, forensic tools, IAM solutions, SSO/MFA solutions, and security logging and alerting systems.
- Experience planning, researching, and developing security processes and procedures.
- Experience working with secure networks, systems, and applications.
- Knowledge of secure cloud practices and frameworks, specifically in AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of incident response and threat intelligence programs, including tabletop exercises and red/blue/purple team engagements.
- Experience providing user guidance, documentation, and consultation.
- Knowledge of secure data architectures best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in addressing technical issues.
- Experience with explosive growth and variable requirements.
- Experience with change and incident management processes.
