Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a Safe and Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and assets by conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding to security incidents.
  • Monitor and Control Access: Control access to restricted areas, monitor visitor movements, and ensure that all personnel and visitors comply with security protocols.
  • Investigate Security Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
  • Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with other teams, including facilities, IT, and emergency services, to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents.
  • Maintain Security Systems: Ensure that all security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, are functioning correctly and are regularly maintained.
  • Provide Security Training: Provide security training to employees and visitors, including emergency procedures and security protocols.

Requirements:

  • Security Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Security Qualifications: Hold a valid security qualification, such as SIA or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular standing, walking, and climbing stairs.

Working Environment: The successful candidate will work in a secure environment, with regular access to restricted areas. The role will require working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
