Staff Nurse II, BHCC, Infusion Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Sutter Health. As an Oncology and Infusion Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute setting. Your expertise will be essential in delivering holistic and individualized care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- RN-Registered Nurse of California.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Infusion administering Chemo, ONS/ONCC-Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within 6 months.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
- 2 years RN with at least six months of prior experience in oncology or infusion therapy in an acute care facility within the last two years.
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local/state/federal written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize patient care, assignments, and work within standardized policies, procedures, and practices to achieve objectives and meet time-sensitive activities.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook).
- Ability to communicate and engage team members, patients, and families in a variety of stressful situations.
This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
