Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to join our team at Johnson Controls. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced sales professionals who are passionate about the commercial HVAC industry and eager to contribute their expertise in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Johnson Controls' Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit offerings to building owners and facilities directors, leveraging their technical expertise and industry knowledge to close deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts, fostering strong partnerships that drive business growth and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to identify new sales opportunities and develop targeted solutions that address customer needs and objectives.
  • Mentor junior account executives, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance their skills and contribute to the growth of the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as business, engineering, or operations.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in executive-level sales, preferably in the commercial HVAC industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a deep understanding of design/build mechanical retrofit projects and their applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers at the facility director, C-suite, or VP level.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications, reporting tools, and financial software.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
