About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Shift Supervisor to join our team at Pet Supplies Plus. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with store team leaders to learn and reinforce PSP standards and daily management routines.
  • Provide leadership coverage and cover management functions up to four times a week when team leaders are offsite.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service is provided to our customers.
  • Learn and perform back office procedures, such as making signs, updating price changes, and inputting cashier records.
  • Involve in store recruiting, onboarding, and team member development.
  • Communicate opportunities to improve community engagement or store performance to the team leaders.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of retail experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, to run the store.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, and pass the drug screening (where allowed by law) and be 18 years or older.
