Job Title: Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse

CorsoCare Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all activities of the Agency, including patient care services and personnel. This role will act on behalf of the Administrator in their absence and be readily available to advise staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing and other skilled clinical services through systematic assessment of caseload and optimum utilization of personnel.
  • Identify comprehensive needs and recommend appropriate changes in staffing, budgets, policies, or programs to meet those needs.
  • Oversee maintenance of accurate record systems, evaluate effectiveness of programs, and recommend modifications.
  • Make patient and personnel assignments, coordinate patient care, and ensure the development, implementation, and updates of individualized plans of care.
  • Participate in the development of personnel policies and procedures designed to attract, retain, and motivate staff members.
  • Promote a positive and effective system of communication throughout the Agency.
  • Maintain and enhance professional expertise through education and organizational activities.
  • Participate in short- and long-range planning based on Agency goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan with at least two (2) years' experience in Hospice care.
  • Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
  • Ability to deal effectively with stress.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Avid team player.
  • Consistently maintains a positive attitude that promotes team and optimal performance.

Accountability:
