The Senior Trust and Wealth Management Consultant plays a crucial role in nurturing ongoing client relationships and overseeing the provision of wealth management services. The incumbent will leverage extensive fiduciary expertise, experience, and bank resources to uncover opportunities for enhancing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of significant, intricate, and sensitive client relationships, ensuring adherence to fiduciary standards and the bank's policies.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction by orchestrating the efforts of relevant bank resources to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality service, effective issue resolution, and clear communication with clients and wealth team members.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with clients and their advisors to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs, while actively seeking new business opportunities from the existing client base, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of fiduciary standards and practices, and support Fiduciary Services by leading departmental projects and committees.
  • Provide mentorship to junior advisors within the Wealth Management Division, including training, skill enhancement, work distribution, and problem-solving, while representing the bank at external and professional organizations, in alignment with our mission, strategy, and values.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possession of a college degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a trust department of a bank, or within a financial services firm or law practice.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of fiduciary, tax, and estate planning concepts, along with a solid grasp of financial markets.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey challenging messages to clients and management with tact and professionalism.
