Building Operations Engineer

This is a dynamic role that involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and facilities maintenance, with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in this field. A high school degree or equivalent is required, with trade school attendance or certification preferred.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $44,800 and $49,600 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $22-24.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project scopes and develop job plans for review by the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.
- Determine and report materials, manpower, and cost estimates to complete jobs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders, purchase orders, and sales receipts.
- File equipment damage and loss reports, as well as accident reports, in a timely manner.
- Return unused stock and materials to the facilities maintenance department.
- Perform repair work using the latest technology, following local and state regulation codes and requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in property management and facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic construction and maintenance procedures, including material properties and applications, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Valid Mass. driver's license and reliable vehicle.
