Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operational Technology Network Manager to join our team at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our large-scale enterprise network environment. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least seven years of experience implementing and maintaining large-scale enterprise networks. They will be responsible for developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting systems used by the SCADA team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, network devices, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and HP hardware products. They will also have experience with virus protection products, patch management solutions, network management products, and enterprise backup solutions.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose problems on network devices, interpret system logs, and recommend solutions to mitigate emerging security risks. They will also be responsible for collaborating with Director, Security and staff on IT and SCADA security issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain large-scale enterprise network environment.
  • Develop, configure, implement, and support systems used by the SCADA team.
  • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, network devices, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and HP hardware products.
  • Experience with virus protection products, patch management solutions, network management products, and enterprise backup solutions.
  • Collaborate with Director, Security and staff on IT and SCADA security issues.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, and at least seven years of experience implementing and maintaining large-scale enterprise networks. You will also need to have strong technical knowledge of network devices, routing protocols, and HP hardware products. Additionally, you will need to have experience with virus protection products, patch management solutions, network management products, and enterprise backup solutions. A valid Massachusetts Class D Operator's License is required. Preferred certifications include GIAC, Network, MCSE, and CISCO product certifications.

Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 per year
