Night Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Residence Inn Portland/Scarborough. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
- Follow all cash handling and credit policies to ensure accurate and secure transactions.
- Stay up-to-date on all rates, packages, and special promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
- Be familiar with in-house groups and closed-out dates to ensure accurate room assignments.
- Take room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario to ensure accurate and efficient bookings.
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees.
- Operate the Front Desk computer system with ease and accuracy.
- Complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
- Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- Computer experience is required.
- Customer Service experience is preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
