Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Provide daily care and attention to the animals, including feeding, cleaning, and providing fresh water.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the animals, including cleaning cages, runs, and related areas.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications to the animals as required and document on medical logs accordingly.
  • Adoption and Reclaim: Assist with adoption and reclaim procedures, including updating animal location and information in PetPoints.
  • Public Education: Provide education and information to the public regarding animal care, adoption, and reclaim procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of animal handling experience preferred.
  • Skills: Basic animal behavior knowledge, cleaning and disinfecting methods, and ability to handle and control animals.
