Service Environment:
The role is primarily inpatient, focusing on acute and sub-acute psychiatric care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services with a focus on psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups.
- Manage a patient census of approximately 10, ensuring high-quality care.
- Participate in rounding, dedicating 5-8 hours per day to patient interactions.
Patient Care:
The position involves a mix of new evaluations and follow-ups, with a focus ratio of 70:30.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts medical license is required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Additional Information:
- Temporary privileges are available.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically MediTech, is preferred.
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
